NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN COMPLETELY HONEST.

Honesty is the best policy they say, but it should be self-honesty is the best policy.

I don’t necessarily tell a lie, I just haven’t let anyone know my true emotions when engaged. What’s the point? Rare occasions when I slip up, people show you how redundant they truly are, the stunted POV, the lack of open-mindedness. It really is what it is.

So I just go along with whatever, never completely airing out my thoughts, keeping the snarky replies locked up, being a slightly good girl, just there. Say enough to have a personality, not too much so they can’t truly grasp you and call you clinically crazy. Such a fun ride.

The one thing I’ll never do though is lie to myself, it is never wise.
