This year marks 10 years since I started working. What was supposed to be a gap year after high school became a new life to live. As much as I missed out on the student life in the same timeline as my peers, I've gained so much experience that will be a foundation to success in the near future. Good and bad experiences that have also helped me figure out adulthood, and I'll keep learning as long as I keep working.
I'm writing about work for those who need someone to relate to. Talking about work is scary - you're not sure about how it can impact your future, but there is a way to talk about it, and the following posts will show you how.
I'm writing about work for those who don't have to work or are going to start working soon. Working can change you, if you gain awareness in time. Working will teach you about spaces you may or may not belong in. Working will force you to grow up, even when you're not ready. Working can force you back into being a student or into self employment... you get it.
Working is unavoidable for most of us, but we need to learn how to work to thrive, not survive.
I believe that I've worked long enough and have gone through quite a bit to share some stories, advice and insight about working. Subscribe today if that's something you'd like to know more about.
