Why do people procrastinate?

It’s no fib that pleasure is more comfortable than hardwork.

I mean who would prefer to work when you can just scroll through social media all day, watch a movie or even better; take a nap.

This is where procrastination comes in.

We choose the comfortable situation over the brain storming one; waiting for when we will have the “joules” in carrying out the more productive activity.

Well, here’s what happens…

The workload piles up, opportunities get missed, you sink in day after day into a worse situation than you want to be in.

Let me help you…

* The first step to take is Admitting that you are procrastinating. You live in an imaginative world of perfection in disguise and you fail to see the real world where you are putting your life on hold because of laziness.

*Getting rid of Distractions is also a step towards ending procrastination. I personally decided to delete every social media app that I wasn’t using to try to improve myself including games. Find what your greatest distraction is and get rid of it.

*Setting a realistic goal would be a great start to end procrastination. You know your strength and what you can achieve in a day. Work in bits and reward yourself a few minutes of pleasure and rest.

When you are able to master the art of beating procrastination and turning your intentions into actions, you are a step closer to achieving everything that you have dreamed of❤️
