The thing is, I work according to what my body and soul require. I know you’re used to hearing that you should "work hard" and "don’t sleep." As much as that sounds like a guaranteed path to success, you need to understand that you don’t want to end up making a lot of money only to use it to restore your health. "Health is wealth" exists for a reason. Call me lazy, but I’ll sleep and relax, not only when my body asks for it, but because I believe in living fully. I’ll have so much fun because we only die once, and I intend to die well. Life is too short to be going in circles or working as if you’re running out of time. Success is very relative, and that’s the amazing thing about it. A farmer with a plot of land may feel more successful than a farmer with over 20,000 acres. Success is a feeling, so if I feel successful after making one or two films, don’t call me lazy. My success is not determined by what people think of me.
If your success is determined by others’ opinions, then you’ll never truly be successful.
