I have always been repulsed by the women's Empowerment schemes. Outrightly, I hate it and I find it insulting of women. As a teen I couldn't quite understand it. Giving rice and cooking oil to women is hardly empowering and teaching women skills for self sufficiency, while noble, barely scratches the surface of women's unbridled potential - something is just...off.
Somewhere, at some point in his-story women were programmed to believe that to have power was bad and sinful, we were taught to distrust our desires, to hold our intuition in contempt, to have disdain for our embodied pleasure, to keep our hunger and longing at bay far suppressed through centuries of enforced purity culture, to engage in transactional relations with our own erotic life force, to be the unpaid maids of everyone elses wellbeing to the detriment of our own.
Women with power have been ostracized, millions and millions of women have been burnt at the stake, cancelled, blacklisted as witches, bitches, inconvenient, black widows, enemies of the state...on and on
And I don't mean powerful in the way men are - dominating and self-seeking - but powerful in the way only the feminine can be - circulating and life generating.
To be self assertive, self-possessed and self initiating, led by the pulse of desire is classified the reason for the fall of man and every man after
From Lilith to Eve to Delilah, Queen Varshti to Jezebel, Joan of Arc to Hepatia to the many faces of the Goddess from pre-christian societies - from girlhood to adulthood, the culture shames, punishes and exiles the woman whether of not she uses this for "good" is another conversation, as good is a merit further distilled through patriarchal eyes.
Womens Empowerment as we know it is basically the giving of aids to the undisposed or the programming of women to think, act, be like men.
Empowerment or In-power-ment(ality) or mind is a sham on feminine power, it is a belittling, castrating and infantilism of women from their own true power because it asks women to adorn a form of power that is mind-driven, far removed from the realm of feminine power.
This isn't Empowerment, it is feminine impoverishment and if anything - extremely disempowering
So let us deconstruct Power for a minute -
Power is the level at which we are able to conduct source energy through our own bodies and beings.
If you can think of a clean energy source, like electricity, when it is condensed and passed through a vessel so we have lights in our homes, we call it power. Hence, power is a condensation of pure energy to fit into a container for it
And yes there are different forms of power - mental, spiritual, sexual, physical - which create further subdivisions of power - monetary, assets, skill sets, knowledge base, fan base, respect on and on.
But above all of this , is creative power, the original and most primordial force of power in existence from which everything else is born from.
This is Source/Creative energy made manifest - the ability to create planets, galaxies, multiverses, humans, plants, fungi, solar systems, mycelial networks...
Every other form of power we know is encapsulated therein, and this is the true Feminine Power.
For women, our powers of creation and regeneration flows from the well spring of our erotic channel - our wombs + our hearts
Which ofcourse through masculine-dominant Spirituality is touted as the most profane and carnal form of love
Not because the erotic realm is in and of itself bad - but because women's power has become largely misunderstood and men, kings, emperors have always known how powerful Eros is and thus only seek to distract us from it while they exploit it for their own gain
But how can the erotic be a greater form of power, when we have been taught to believe that intellect far supersedes all other forms of power?
While we as a culture are now inclined to believe that all forms of masculine power - the physical and the mental are superior to the feminine forms of power, the emotional and the erotic - this is deliberate.

Infact I'll just debunk the comparison by pointing to the fact that the mental and the physical always lead to diminishing returns if not powered by the emotions and Eros.
Think about it - without the muse of inspiration, which is erotic in nature (think cascading influx of enlivening energy when you get a brilliant idea), we have mental blocks. Without the pulse of the emotional currents of joy, grief, rage - the body becomes a morgue ..
Because Eros is what gives life
It is literally what births life - we are all born from and through sexual energies and the luckiest of us, through the big bang of orgasm
Eros is the big bang moment when our Universe came into form
Eros is the creative intelligence of nature
It is what emanates as inspiration, as the desire and the impulse to create, as ecstasy, bliss and aliveness - it undergrids every art form, every muse-ic note and every indulgence in food and drink and laughter and pleasure and play that reminds us why we chose to experience this thing called being human

What they don't tell you is that Feminine Power is what drives all empires, all industries, all systems - it is the seed, the fruit, the fuel, the dream of all conquests.
Once the women and femme-embodied beings awaken to the fact that we've been willfully misdirected from our power all this time, and we stop to ponder why that is what these forces seek to gain by our ignorance and disconnect from our power source, we will literally Turn On and the forces of oppression, division and destruction will meet their reckoning.
