AMAKA is looking for our creative community to embark on a visual journey. We're calling upon AMAKA Creators to share a written pitch (no more than 150 words) for a short video that captures your favourite or best place within the area you call home and share why it holds such significance to you. 

Suggested Ideas/Topics:

Iconic Landmarks: Showcase a distinctive landmark in your hometown, whether it's a majestic mountain, a tranquil beach, or an architectural marvel.

Local Gems: Highlight your cherished spots, be it a beloved restaurant, cozy coffee shop, or a cherished family location with personal sentimental value like your local church or your grandmother's living room.

Metaphorical Treasures: Consider more metaphorical interpretations by featuring a person, plant, or pet that embodies the essence of home and heart.

The most captivating and thought-provoking written pitch for a short video will be carefully selected, and the chosen content creator will be offered the opportunity to bring their envisioned visual work to life through a commissioned video piece.

Please note/Important information: The video can be captured and edited on your smartphone or video/editing recording device.

Videos should be no longer than 1 minute.

You only need to create the video if you are commissioned; please do not send videos/clips beforehand, just a written pitch idea.
