Calling all photographers, videographers, and content creators! AMAKA and Sony are excited to invite you to Alpha Fest 2024 in Lagos for a day of hands-on creativity, masterclasses, and connection with Nigeria’s best creators.

What You’ll Do:

• Share pre-event content on social media with event-specific hashtags and tag AMAKA and Sony between the 25 and 29 of November 2024. 
• Attend Alpha Fest 2024 and capture moments that showcase the event’s highlights.
• Share post-event content on social media with event-specific hashtags and tag AMAKA and Sony.

Content Ideas:

• “What’s in My Bag” or Prep Video: Show your audience what you’re packing or how you’re prepping for the event. Whether it’s the tech gear you’re bringing or the essentials in your bag, this makes your prep relatable and engaging.
• BTS of Content Creation: Give a behind-the-scenes look at your creative process as you plan or shoot your event content. Show your setup, your ideas, and even any funny or unexpected moments.
• “Why You Don’t Want to Miss This” Video: Make a quick video with 3-5 reasons why your audience should tune in. Share some exciting highlights or exclusives to build up the hype!
• Event Recap Video: Share a highlight reel of the event, featuring exciting moments, key speakers, or memorable encounters. This can be a quick summary for those who missed it, and a fun trip down memory lane for those who attended.
• Top 5 Takeaways: Share your biggest lessons or insights from the event. This can be a valuable post for followers looking for inspiration or actionable advice without having to attend themselves.
• "Behind-the-Scenes Moments You Didn’t See”: Show off the funny, unexpected, or personal behind-the-scenes moments that happened during the event. These often resonate because they’re authentic and give followers an exclusive peek.

Who Can Enter? 

This opportunity is open to all Nigerian-based photographers, videographers, and content creators who have a passion for digital storytelling and a strong presence on social media. You should meet the following criteria:

• Social Media Engagement: Strong engagement on Instagram, Meta, or TikTok is encouraged to maximise reach.
• Content Creation Skills: Be skilled at capturing and sharing quality visual moments that highlight the event’s unique experiences.

How to Enter:

1. Submit a UGC Portfolio: Send us a portfolio that highlights your experience with UGC content. You may include links to videos you’ve shared on AMAKA or other platforms.

1. Portfolio Details: Make sure to include samples that showcase your creativity, visual storytelling, and ability to engage an audience.

Please note: AMAKA and Sony will be reviewing your AMAKA profiles as part of the selection process, so make sure your profile is fully completed and includes 1-3 content samples showcasing your work.
